I worked for Electronic Data processing PLC for 20 plus years and was the QA Manager for UniVision. I worked as development manager, general manager and support manager within various spheres. I have worked with, and programmed using, UniVision, UniVerse and D3. I have been involved with the linking of the UniVision Database to COBOL files, interfacing to the web using the UVListener. I was repsonsible for converting the Disys product The Business Programme from D3 into UniVision. Between 1994 and 1996 I was support and development manager for Cortex Computers in Bedford supplying back office systems for the Metal Markets and Trading Desks using UniVerse. I have recently finished a contract with a large white goods merchant in Birmingham who are interfacing their UniVision database to 100+ different web sites. I am currently involved with a websales front end that interfaces with EDP's Merchant system.
